Nuts!

Kickstarters on the way!

Frostpunk: The Board Game

"A city-survival game where heat means life and every decision comes at a cost. From the designers of Nemesis and This War of Mine: TBG."

Estimated delivery: October 2021

I am not 100% sure why I backed this monster of a Kickstarter. At the time I backed it I had an idea that I was going to solo play a lot and I was really in to co-op play so I guess that is a part of the explanation. It looks cool and dark and we will get it to the table at least a few times.

The Age of Atlantis

"A competitive, engine-building, civilization game. Become the most powerful house in the legendary city of Atlantis. Created by El Dorado Games."

Estimated delivery: June 2022

Everybody have heard about the tale of Atlantis. It is a myth, a cautinary tale and the base for a lot of media and fantasies. I have always thought it was a interesting tale and wondered how much of it actually were true. After reading some of Graham Hancocks books and the wondreful funny Meet Me in Atlantis by Mark Adams my intrest was elevated. The Age of Atlantis promises to be a competative co-op set on Atlantis. I like competietive co-op or semi co-op and I like Atlantis so this was a easy back for me. I hope The Age of Atlantis will deliver the fun, preassuring worker placement it promises.

Super Truffle Pigs

"Outsmart the wolves, power up your pigs, and get ready for a truffle-hunting adventure in this family-friendly game for 2-4 players!"

Estimated delivery: June 2022

This one is purely for the kids and extended family. I think it looks like a fun, a little bit puzzly and thinky casual game. The piugs are cute and the gameplay seems smart and silly in equally good measures. Who doesn't like pigs!?

Keep the Heroes Out

"Heroes are better served roasted in this cooperative dungeon defense game."

Estimated delivery: August 2022

This one looked really fun and casual in the right way. I try to get my kids to play more board games and this one I hope could be a good game for them while at the same time be intresting enough for any adults too.

Hamlet: The Village Building Game

"Grow a humble Hamlet into a bustling Town. A new game by David Chircop."

Estimated delivery: December 2022

The Settlers was my all time favourite computer game and really like games about production and logistics so this was a must back for me.
